Asian bridal hijab style
One reader recently requested ideas for wearing hijab during her wedding in Pakistan. I've had these photos saved for ages now, and they should provide some inspiration. The easiest option when it comes to the headcovering aspect is to wear a plain square or one-piece hijab in a matching colour to the outfit, and pinning the decorative head-piece on top. My favourite of all these has to be the first photo. I love the rich colour and embroidery:

Middle East hijab wedding style
I personally prefer the simpler styles of the bottom two pictures here, though they could do with more neck coverage. I'm not too fond of the idea of swimming in white tulle and organza - we wouldn't want to upstage the cake now, would we?

Turkish bridal hijab styles
They have a beautiful selection of hijab-friendly dresses, and although most of us can't get our hands on them, they can provide some inspiration if you plan on making your own. One thing I do dislike though, again, is the strapless dress with a long sleeve top underneath concept, as seen in the first two pictures. Hijab Street Styles
I just came across these street style photos over at Vogue.co.uk and was pleasantly surprised to find these fashion-forward yet modest outfits.
First up is this photo of Mary Kate Steinmiller in a beautiful flowing grey maxi skirt, teamed with a t-shirt and cropped leather jacket. I love this city-chic look and the way different textures and fabrics are contrasted. Try skipping the belt for a more modest fit around the waist:

Next up is a similar outfit - a simple blazer over a grey jersey dress. I'd pair it with a looser dress for a more hijab-friendly look, but it gets a thumbs-up for a great day-to-evening ensemble; just add accessories...

Dubai hijab street style
I love Arshiya Quraishi's outfit in the first photo, and in particular her accessories. The pink brooch is a fab way of securing a hijab (very helpful in our windy weather!), and tinted shades and a simple metal cuff add the finishing touches to a casually chic outfit.
Often Dubai fashion is associated with outlandishly glittery abayas, but Hana Al Fadhil in the second photo also shows that there's plenty of understated style to be had too:

Muslim women's fashion in Bosnia appears to be a blend of Turkish, Arab and European styles. The end result is fresh and relaxed without looking scruffy. I particularly like the hijab wraps of the girl in pink in the 1st picture, and the girl in orange in the 3rd.
